Activity Itinerary Planning

One of my greatest strengths as a travel planner is crafting daily itineraries. I go beyond the first page of Google search results and deep dive into Reddit subs, multiple travel blogs, government-run tourist information websites, and more to make sure I know all of the best things to do in a location. I cross-reference this with the information I gather about you to make a personalized itinerary. No two are ever exactly the same.

Who is This Service For?

This is a great service for people who love to vacation but hate figuring out what to do and where to eat. It works well for those who want to book their own accommodations and airfare, but don’t want to plan their day-to-day activities while on vacation. It is also a great add-on service for clients who book their vacation through me.

I welcome single-family customers, large extended-family groups, corporate retreat clients, solo travelers, school groups, and clients of any budget.

What You Will Receive

Clients who pay for this service will receive a Google Sheet with:

  • A daily itinerary with every hour of the day accounted for

  • An extensive list of activities in the location you are visiting. It is organized by neighborhood, so you can easily add something nearby if an activity falls through or you end early. This list will also have pricing, relevant links, and notes.

  • Restaurant recommendations

  • Hotel or vacation rental recommendations (upon request)

Once I have finished the itinerary, I will send you an email with a straightforward list of all the tickets you need to buy if you follow the itinerary, and when they go on sale. I will let you know whether tickets are likely to sell out quickly or can be safely purchased on the day of, on location.

I will often include relevant tips, local customs, or helpful blog posts in this email as well.

Cost

Itinerary planning is $30 a day, $185 per full week, or $185 per week plus $25 each additional day.

There is no guarantee that I will be able to plan a trip if I am given less than 4 weeks’ notice before the departure date. For trips less than 6 weeks away, I charge a $ 10-per-day short-notice premium.

Payment is due upfront. I am happy to make changes to itineraries if things don’t meet your standards, but I will not offer refunds.

Clients who book any vacation with me can get 25% off an itinerary. Those who book a trip of $10,000 or more through me will receive 50% off this service. Clients who book a vacation of $20,000 or more will get this service for free.

How to Utilize This Service

Send me a message through my contact form with your details and tentative vacation dates. I will reach out via email and finalize details before sending an invoice.

I recommend contacting me at least 4 months before a trip, though 6 months is preferable to ensure you don’t miss tickets for popular attractions that can sell out months in advance.

We can communicate during the planning process over email, text, phone call, or video call. Heck, if you’re local to the Phoenix area, we can even talk through your trip in person.

Travel Agent Bookings

I am signed with Outside Agents, a large travel agency that has partnerships with thousands of vacation suppliers. Through them, I can offer clients flights, vacation packages, hotels, travel insurance, car rentals, cruises, adventures, and more. If you have a dream, I can likely make it happen.

I am paid on commission for any bookings I coordinate for you. Because of this, you don’t pay any extra fees.

Advantages

Contrary to popular belief, travel agents are not soooo 1994. While you can book almost anything online by yourself, a travel agent will undoubtedly save you time.

As an agent, I will:

  • Research options and present them to you

  • Provide advice and insights

  • Make sure you don’t miss something important, such as vaccine requirements or a mandatory visa

  • Find discounts when available

  • Handle the details

  • Make sure you’re organized and prepared before you leave

At the end of the day, I am like the contractor of a new house build. I organize the right players, provide industry knowledge, offer peace of mind, and ensure YOUR vision is executed.

How Do I Book a Trip?

Reach out via my contact form. I will then work out the details with you in whatever way you are most comfortable—on a call, over email, or through texts.
